A FOUR-DOOR WORTHY OF A RACING TEAM, Rapide AMR represents the ultimate evolution of a spectacular & versatile sports car. Drawing inspiration from the concept car unveiled to great acclaim at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Rapide AMR further enhances this charismatic four-door sports car. Incorporating a comprehensive suite of power, chassis and styling upgrades over the Rapide S. Having covered just under miles the 5.9-litre naturally aspirated AM29 V12 engine produces 603 PS or 595 hp and 630 Nm of torque, courtesy of better air flow to the engine and new calibration software. The 8-speed automatic transmission has also received re-calibration for better shift timing. The AMR came standard when new with Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres and 21-inch alloy wheels, the biggest wheels ever fitted to an Aston Martin at that time. The AMR model features carbon ceramic braking system with six piston calipers at the front and four piston calipers at the rear featuring 400 mm and 360 mm brake rotors front and aft. The car features a new front grille, fog lamps design normally featured on our "Zagato" models as well as side sills, rear diffuser and bootlid all crafted from carbon fibre. The Rapide AMR can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds and can reach 205 mph. Interior options include a One-77 steering wheel, AMR Silhouette Pack, personalised sill plaques along with logos and to add to this, this example has a bespoke colour Scheme different to the Halo models which were finished in Stirling Green with lime essence details.
